Latah County Getting Organized for IVA

MOSCOW, IDAHO: Wednesday, September 15, 2010

This week I visited with Gresham Bouma, Latah County businessman and state senatorial candidate in Moscow. It is exciting to work with people like Gresham and his wife, Wendy, who care so much for our state and country.

We are planning for a series of “Celebrate Americanism!” rallies in Latah County. These rallies are just what the title indicates. We are going to gather in city parks, churches or ball fields to celebrate the values that have made our state and country strong. Values such as a deep belief in God, natural law and unalienable rights will be our talking points.

I also met with Tyler Smotherman. Tyler is a freshman from Coeur d’Alene at the University of Idaho. Tyler is a dedicated Christian and committed to making a difference in Idaho. In his senior year at CDA High, Tyler was Student Council President and graduated 4th in his class. (Great job Tyler!) At U of I He is a political science major and is a cadet with the ROTC.

Tyler is our first-ever IVA student-intern in our effort to reach the next generation of great American leaders.

Keep Gresham, Wendy and Tyler in your prayers as they join together with the IVA in making a difference on the campus of the University of Idaho and Latah County.
